The Old Bank Nursery is the gorgeous Georgian building on the corner of The Grove which used to be the old Lloyds Bank in Shifnal.
Kaleidoscope Nursery stands in the grounds of St Andrews Primary school in Park Lane, Shifnal.
Kaleidoscope Nursery Oakengates is the latest addition to our family of nurseries and is based in a lovely, refurbished premises offering close proximity to those working near Telford Town Centre.
The 3 nurseries are run by Kaleidoscope Child Care Ltd, a family business that started 32 years ago.
The childcare business started in Nanny Murphys Lane in Shifnal with the support and encouragement of the beloved Anne and Frank Dakin, who many will have fond memories of, who rented Carole a beautiful cottage to start her dream of providing childcare for local families. A few years later the business moved out of her home and into Broadway, Shifnal. In 2003 the nursery bought purpose built premises and located them within the grounds of St Andrews School. 2017 saw the company redevelop the empty Lloyds Bank building to ensure that the vacant building continued to provide a use for the community.
